Jochem Bonarius-de Hoop finished his BSc in Electrical Engineering and his MSc in Computer Engineering at Delft University of Technology in 2005 and 2007. Since then, he worked as a developer/engineer/researcher at several companies, including Philips Research, ASML, Bosch communication systems and NXP. In 2016 he joined the Electro-optical communications group of TU/e EE as a researcher, to work on large-scale DSP for multimode optical fiber transmission. In 2017 he started his PhD at the Intelligent Lighting group on the topic of human-centric intelligent lighting, part of the NWO-TTW OptiLight project.
